Intimate Bali Beach Sunset Proposal

Imagine a beautiful sunset hued padparadscha set in rose gold surrounded by glittering diamonds set against the backdrop of a Bali beach sunset.  This was the beginning of happily ever after for our lovely client, Henny.

Henny, all the way from Bali, first contacted us in December 2016 looking for the perfect peachy toned padparadscha and it was a challenge we knew we had to meet.  After a month and a half of exchanging emails - many photos and videos of different stones in different angles, we were able to help her find the one!

She chose a lovely 1.90ct square radiant, unheated, GIA certified padparadscha.  The stone traveled to Bangkok, where talented jewelry designer Frederic Bonnet created a one of a kind piece for it. It is housed in a rose gold setting surrounded by a double halo of diamonds. The entire piece then travelled to Bali, where it has found its permanent home on Henny's finger.

Read below for Henny's thoughts on the sapphire she chose and photos of the awe-inspiring piece:

"The padparadscha sapphire itself looks stunning! The color range is huge! It contains more colors than I ever thought was possible! From a light peachy-pink in daylight it goes to an breathtaking darker reddish tone in yellow indoor light. But then yet again when it's overcast, the colors go towards dark peach (yellow), like on the first image I sent your dad. We are amazed every time anew and rose gold was the perfect choice to enhance its' colors."
