Something Blue Sapphire Pendant and Earrings
Meet Brianna and John, one of our favorite couples!
We met them a couple years ago when they visited our showroom in downtown Los Angeles. They were looking for a pretty cornflower blue sapphire for Brianna's wedding jewelry. Together, we spent several weeks sifting through our inventory and discussing several options. For her pendant, Brianna chose a 4.34 carat oval sapphire that we had GIA certified for her. She also ended up choosing a matching pair of smaller oval sapphires and a pair of round moonstones for stunning drop earrings.
Love how they look on Brianna!

Read below in Brianna's own words about why she decided to have sapphires for her wedding jewelry:
"Blue is my absolute favorite color, I love sapphires & have always wanted a reason to wear them so our wedding date in September with the sapphire birthstone for that month was perfect. Cornflower blue was always my favorite crayon as a child, it reminds John & me of blue waters of the many oceans we have seen throughout our relationship & on our honeymoon that we fell in love with, & of our passion for everything outdoors & in nature. The cornflower or "Cinderella" blue color is symbolic of our history & love for each other. For our wedding, John wore a very unique blue Hugo Boss suit, our wedding party were in blue, & I was in a blush dress with custom blue floral Lucchese cowboy boots so a subtle accent of blue for my jewelry definitely had to be sapphires.”
Fred Curtis of Fred Curtis Designs made her jewelry with our sapphires. For more information about him and to view more of his work visit: www.platinumfred.com
